Looking at the individual leaderboard from best ball tournaments can sometimes yield interesting results. Since best ball requires a solid effort from both players in a team, individual success does not always correlate with success in the event. This is especially evident in the Greenwood Cup, where the best individual performer, Sterling Hurd, was nowhere close to winning the tournament. This goes to further show that team balance and compatibility is essential for optimal performance in the best ball format. 

One thing we should keep in mind when looking at this is the small inconsistencies in best ball scoring. Since not every hole is finished out and not every player's score from every hole is recorded, some of the scores in this leaderboard were predicted using Junior Golf Nerd's formula.
